baroque dance ensembles Amaryllis and Les Images Baroques

Soloists of the two St. Petersburg baroque dance ensembles "Amaryllis" and "Les Images Baroques" to the inspired accompaniment of musicians from the Russian Early Music Ensemble Vladimir Shulyakovsky will present the dance program "Triumph of Terpsichore" this evening. It included the music and dance of the iconic French baroque composers - Lully, Rameau, Boismortier and Charpentier. As you know, in the 17th century, on the personal instructions of King Louis XIV, ballet notation was invented, in which all the movements of the dancers were accurately recorded. Baroque dance experts have long since learned to decipher it and perform it in its original form. So this evening, the audience will see the French dance of the 17th-18th centuries exactly as it was 300-350 years ago.

The duration of the event is 1 hour 40 minutes with one intermission;

the concert is intended for all categories of viewers over 6 years old.
