II CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL "STAR OF BIFLEEM"

To the 150th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Scriabin

... I dreamed of the highest: to glorify the Deity

And illuminate the depths of the spirit in sounds.

He dared to melt the metal of melodies

And I wanted to pour out new forms ...

V. Bryusov

In 2022, the music world celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Scriabin. From January 6 to 8, Sergei Stadler will hold the Second Christmas Festival "Star of Bethlehem" in St. Petersburg, which will be dedicated to the work of the great Russian musician.

“He is all - an impulse and a sacred flame” - contemporaries wrote about Scriabin. His bold innovative ideas and dreams of universal harmony were embodied in his symphonic work. The audience will be able to immerse themselves in the composer's fantastic world, recreated in sound with all the orchestral power and depth.

The St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sergei Stadler will play three concerts, including the first one on the composer's birthday, January 6.
