Trio of Stanislav Chigadev

On April 17, on the stage of the Hermitage Theater, a trio of the famous St. Petersburg jazz and classical pianist, composer and arranger Stanislav Chigadaev will present to the St. Petersburg public the program "CHOPIN TODAY" - author's arrangements of works by the great Polish composer Frederic Chopin.

On the stage of the Imperial Theater, you will hear a musical story about how musicians see Chopin's work and how they want to convey it to the modern listener. The CHOPIN TODAY program is a performance of classical music through the prism of modernity.

In 2020, when the whole world celebrated the 210th anniversary of the composer's birth, Stanislav Chigadaev's trio released the album "CHOPIN TODAY", having recorded it at one of the best studios in Russia - Cinelab (Moscow).

The release was supported by the Polish Institute of the City of St. Petersburg, and soon the album will appear on one of the Polish labels.

The compositions from this particular album will be performed on April 17 at the Hermitage Theater by:

Stanislava Chigadaeva (piano)

Grigory Voskoboinik (double bass)

Sasha Machine (drums)

Each concert of the trio is filled with improvisation and daring musical decisions.

And this time Stanislav Chigadaev, who will celebrate his thirtieth birthday on the day of the concert, April 17, and Grigory Voskoboinik will be joined by one of the most popular drummers in Russia, Sasha Mashin, who is fluent in the language of improvisation.

Stanislav Chigadaev is a virtuoso of classical and jazz piano; he graduated with honors from the College named after V.I. NA Rimsky-Korsakov, as well as postgraduate studies at the State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky - Korsakov. Laureate of prestigious All-Russian, international classical and jazz competitions, trained at the Academy of Music. Karol Szymanowski from Doctor of Music Sciences - Pavel Tomaszewski (Katowice, Poland).

The Stanislav Chigadaev Trio is a project of the famous St. Petersburg pianist, leader of the beloved Good Evening Trio project.

With the project "Trio" Good evening! " Stanislav performs in the most prestigious concert halls in Russia: the Moscow International House of Music, the Small Hall of the State Academic Philharmonic. D. Shostakovich, the Mariinsky Theater, the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater, the White Hall of the Polytechnic University, the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art, the Music Hall Theater, the State Russian Museum, the Jaani Kirik concert hall, the Igor Butman jazz club, etc.

And as a classical pianist Stanislav Chigadaev is known far beyond the borders of St. Petersburg: his concerts, both accompanied by an orchestra and solo, are held in the best concert halls in Russia and abroad.
